Training and sharing experiences on reduction of Non Revenue Water (NRW) among OIC countries
The International Workshop on: “Training and sharing experiences on reduction of Non Revenue Water (NRW) among OIC countries” conducted in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, during 27-30 April 2014 in cooperation with Electricity and Water Authority in Bahrain (EWA), The Arabian Gulf University, Manama, Bahrain (AGU) and The Islamic Development Bank, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (IDB).
Objectives of the Workshop
The main aim of this training workshop is to emphasize the importance of non-revenue water reduction in domestic water supply sector (NRW) and to share experiences in this field with INWRDAM countries involved in the topic such as Bahrain, Jordan, Sultanate of Oman and others with other OIC. Twenty experts and participants from 10 OIC countries namely; Bahrain, Bangladesh, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, are invited to share their experiences in the area of reducing NRW and ways to maximize its benefits.
